Please pray for our Bible study recording team of ten, together with Alhambra True Light Presbyterian Church, Rev. Peter Lai. In August the team in three groups will leave for Mt. Tabor, Jezreel, Megiddo, Jerusalem, Jordan River, Bethlehem, Tekoa, Mt. Sinai to begin shooting for the books of Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi.
Pray that God will fill them with His wisdom and strength. Pray that God would protect their going in and coming out and cover them with His peace. Ask that all their provisions will be met and that they would have sufficient food and sleep.

Zephaniah was a prophet of the Southern Kingdom. Other than prophesying about the coming punishment for the gentiles, he also warned the people of Judah not to take pleasure in the gentiles’ pending misfortune.
If the people of Judah do not fear God and keep His commandments, they will too be punished.
Yet, if they take to heart God’s teachings and cry out to Him with His pure words, the Lord is mighty in power, He will save them and free them from their punishments. Drive out their enemies, gather them, and bring them in, so that they will have the fame that’s worthy to be praised.
Sing! People of Zion. Shout for joy, O Israel! For the Lord loves you dearly!
Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” (John 6:28-29)
